FIRST STEP
• Get the Work order Signed by the Technical Manager.
• Receive The Items by the order Number from the Store Manager.

• Check and Count the Items inside the Test Laboratory.
• Open in the Database New project for this Work order (The same number For Order and Project)
• Remove Cover From the System Case.
• Print and stick Two Identification Labels one on the removed cover and the second inside the System Case.
• Register the System into the Database by Label.
• Fill the information about the system into the Database. (Inspect and Register all Components).
• Print Checklist for the current System
• Check the Voltage of the system (Change to 230V) and note this on the checklist.
• Prepare System Case for Test and save the data for it under (Original Version).
• Send the system with its Checklist to the Test Table.

 

SECOND STEP
1. Test Power Supply and Fill up the field in the checklist.

2. Test Floppy Disk Drive and Fill up the field in the checklist.
3. Test Hard Disk Drive and Fill up the field in the checklist.

4. Test CD-ROM Drive and Fill up the field in the checklist.

5. Test Motherboard and Fill up the field in the checklist.

6. Test Processor and Fill up the field in the checklist.

7. Test Heat Sink (for processors without integrated cooling).

8. Test Cache Module (for systems using cache modules only).
9. Test Memory Modules and Fill up the field in the checklist.
10. Test I/O Port Connectors (AT form factor only).

11. Test PS/2 Mouse Port Connector (optional, AT form factor only).
12. Test Video Card and Fill up the field in the checklist.
13. Test Sound Card and Fill up the field in the checklist.
14. Test Modem Card and Fill up the field in the checklist.
15. Test Ethernet Card and Fill up the field in the checklist.
16. Perform Initial Boot and Fill up the field in the checklist.
17. Perform Initial BIOS Setup and Fill up the field in the checklist.
18. Perform Final System Tests and Inspection.
19. Sign the checklist by the Technical supervisor.
20. Fill and Save the information about the system into the Database. (Under Modified Version).
21. Print out two copies of The system specifications
22. Send the system to the Cleaning aria with its Cover and Two copies of system specifications.

 

THIRD STEP
1. A. Send to Red Area (For Defective Systems).
2. B. Send to Yellow Area (For Pended Systems).
3. C. Clean the system case and its Components (For Approved        Systems)
4. Clean the System Cover.
5. Close the system case
6. Check the system label (Replace if necessary).
7. Stick the Guarantee sticker on its place.
8. Stick the Specification list on the system case.
9. Choose appropriate Power cable, Keyboard and mouse for this system.
10.
Pack the system in a box. Power cables, Keyboards and mice in one big box which can fit around (100)PC's .
11. Stick the Second copy of the Specification list on the Package.
12. Send to Approved products Area.
